ME 3 / Turkiye Conference

The ME3 Turkiye Conference was held in İzmir on 4 September 2026 at 19:30.

With an audience made up largely of deaf individuals, all presentations were delivered with sign language interpretation to ensure equal and accessible participation for everyone attending. Gökhan Kaya and Soner Aslan spoke at the event.

During the conference, the results of four key work packages developed under the project were presented to participants:

• Digital Learning Platform for Vegan Culinary Education in Sign Language,

• Vegan Culinary Education Curriculum for the Deaf,

• Distance Learning Materials for the Vegan Culinary with Sign Language,

• Vegan Recipes from Different Countries.

Participants had the opportunity to learn about the digital learning platform developed under the project, the curriculum designed for deaf learners, the distance learning materials delivered in sign language, and the collection of vegan recipes gathered from different countries — while also asking questions and sharing their own experiences.
